How do I make money as a vendor?
Two ways, stacked. First, a 5% commission: on every ticket you sell cash, POS or in-app you automatically earn 5% of our platform fee, credited to your wallet. Second, your markup: for cash and POS sales you buy each ticket from your wallet at face value and charge the customer whatever you like over it. Both are yours.
What does it cost to start?
Nothing to sign up. You only ever spend your wallet float, which converts directly into tickets you sell. No monthly fee, no contracts.
Which events can I sell?
Every public event that's currently on sale across Zatabox. Search, pick the ticket types, and issue no per-event onboarding needed.
Can my staff sell without seeing my money?
Yes. Counter reps get a sell-only role by default they can issue tickets but can't see your wallet, its history, or request payouts unless you grant those permissions explicitly.
What happens if a staff member's till runs cash but my wallet is empty?
Wallet-deducted sales (cash and POS) require enough float in the matching currency the sale is blocked if the balance is short, so you can never oversell your capital. In-app sales don't need any float.
